Spotlight Kid's music draws influences from the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Spacemen 3, Lush and Swervedriver just to name a few. It features mixtures of Shoegaze, Krautrock and 90s Psychedelia which is no more evident than on the forthcoming single ‘All Is Real’, with its lashings of fuzzy guitars and Chris’ hazy melodic vocals. Flip-side song ‘April’ is wrapped in layers of reverb, while Katty’s tender mutterings subtly build on the song’s lush wall of distortion.
